Macmillan Cancer Support NI is delighted to be working with Airporter to help raise funds for our new £1.5million Macmillan Western Appeal. Throughout 2016 we will be hosting various fundraising events and promotions and we would encourage everyone in the North West to join us and help us build the new Health and Wellbeing Campus.
This is a very exciting time for Macmillan NI, as on Monday 1st June 2015, we officially launched our new appeal – the Macmillan Western Appeal which is an initiative between ourselves and the Western Trust to build a new Health and Wellbeing Campus on the site of Altnagelvin Hospital for patients, carers and their families living with cancer and other long term conditions. This comprises a new purpose built Macmillan Information and Support Centre adjacent to Agnes Jones House which is being refurbished and the two buildings will be interlinked by a walk way.
This campus will compliment the new radiotherapy building due to be running by Autumn 2016 and we need to raise £1.5million to fund this essential service, so every penny you raise will be used to ensure no local person faces cancer alone
